The National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on Saturday, August 8, 2020 reported 453 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases to 46,140.
The breakdown is as follows:
Figures released daily by the National Disease Control Agency show that the disease has also caused six deaths in 24 hours.
Abuja has the highest number of victims this year, with more than 4,300 victims.
Statistics also show that 407 people have recovered from the disease and have been discharged from the country’s coronary wards.
According to the NCDC, there are currently 12,114 patients undergoing treatment for COVID-19 across the country.
