Before I continue with my activities today let’s talk

Humility is a quality that is often overlooked in today’s society. Many people tend to focus on their own achievements and status, rather than acknowledging the contributions and worth of others. However, it is important to remember that we are all human beings, and no one is superior to another.

This is exemplified in the popular phrase, “Before you tell someone you’re not in my class, go and ask the mortuary attendant if there are special beds for your class.” This statement serves as a reminder that we are all equal in the eyes of death, and no one’s status or wealth can change that.

Being humble means recognizing that our accomplishments and possessions do not define us as human beings. It means acknowledging the worth of others and treating them with respect and kindness, regardless of their background or status.

Humility is not a sign of weakness, but rather a strength. It allows us to connect with others on a deeper level, to empathize with their struggles and to appreciate their contributions. It enables us to learn from those around us and to grow as individuals.

On the other hand, arrogance and a sense of superiority can isolate us from others and limit our potential for growth. It can lead us to make decisions based on our own self-interest, rather than considering the needs and perspectives of others.

In conclusion, humility is a quality that we should all strive to embody. It allows us to connect, relate and influence the world around us in a positive way. We should remember that in the grand scheme of things, we are all equal and that our true worth lies in our character and our actions towards others. So, before we tell someone that they are not in our class, let us take a moment to remember that we are all human and that we are all worthy of respect and kindness.
