Rwanda recently played host to a remarkable event that showcased the power of leadership and the potential for global change. Mr. Promise Ukaigwe, CEO of PT Ukaigwe Logistics Incorporation, a distinguished Nigerian businessman and urban planner, embarked on a transformative journey to Rwanda, thanks to the generous sponsorship of Jamie Pajoel International (JPI).

Promise Ukaigwe’s journey began with academic excellence, graduating in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University Of Technology Owerri (FUTO). His outstanding performance led to his selection for a prestigious 6-month internship at the National Space Research Development Agency (NASRDA) in Abuja, where he represented his department.

Recognizing the value of global experience and exposure, Promise Ukaigwe was selected and sponsored by JPI to join 27 (Imo) Nigerian youths at the JPI Annual Leadership Conference in Rwanda in 2023. His passion lies in empowering youth, providing leadership training, and helping individuals achieve financial freedom while enhancing their leadership skills.

According to Promise, the conference was an unforgettable experience. It encompassed everything from the journey from Lagos to Rwanda and the comfortable accommodations at the 2000 Hotel in Kigali to educational visits to institutions like the African Leadership University (ALU). The group also paid their respects at the Memorial Place and enjoyed the flavors of home and diaspora at Jollof Kigali.

The conference culminated in the main event at the Marriott Hotel, featuring an impressive lineup of speakers, including Dr. Steven Akintayo, Dr. Smart Sunny Francis, Dr. Jamie Pajoel, Dr. Blessing Enakimio, Dr. Chibuzor Uwadi, Dr. Bisi Akintayo, and Engr. Chidomere Ndubuise, among others. These accomplished individuals generously shared their wealth of knowledge, leaving Promise and his fellow delegates enriched and inspired.
